Thermal Effect
Continuous mode generates controlled heat, increasing tissue extensibility, accelerating metabolic activity and promoting collagen remodeling.
Non-Thermal Effect
Pulsed mode produces cavitation and acoustic streaming — micro-mechanical effects that stimulate cellular repair without significant heat buildup.
Frequency & Depth
1 MHz penetrates 5–8 cm for deep structures. 3 MHz focuses energy in the top 1–3 cm for superficial tissue and scar remodeling.
AEGIS-4M Coherence
NQTE score ≥70 = STABLE coherence, optimal therapeutic window. 40–69 = MONITOR. <40 = ALERT, review parameters immediately.
